Terms & Conditions
These terms will be governed by and construed in accordance with the law of England and Wales.
1. Copyright
No photography, imagery, text, source code and any other material shown on www.thewhiskyshow.com may be reproduced or redistributed without our prior written permission.
2. Payment Methods
Payment can be made by debit or credit card online, using the following cards: VISA, VISA Delta, MasterCard, Switch and Solo.
3. Refund Policies
You may cancel your ticket purchase if you inform us within 7 days of the order date. Refund will be made in full less a £5 processing fee and will be paid within 30 days of your notifying us of cancellation. Should you wish to cancel your ticket after 7 days, we will do our best to re-allocate it, in which case we will issue a refund in full less £10 administration fee. To cancel an order, please contact us at office@thewhiskyshow.com quoting your worldpay order number.
4. Confirmation
Upon placing an order you will receive a confirmation number. Tickets will be issued at the door upon presentation of your confirmation number.
5. Minimum legal age
By purchasing a ticket to The Whisky Show, you are confirming that you are over the age of 18. Please bring and be prepared to show proof of your age to the Show.
6. Consumption
The Whisky Show encourages consumption in moderation and will ask anyone that becomes disruptive or offensive to other visitors or exhibitors to leave the Show.
7. Continuity of access / service
Our objective is to offer our customers the best possible service, but we are unable to accept responsibility for interrupted access to www.thewhiskyshow.com due to technical problems outside of our control. Due to the nature of the Internet, access may be suspended, restricted or terminated at any time, and we are therefore unable to guarantee entirely error-free access and services.
8. Security
All visitors to the Guildhall will have their bags, briefcases, parcels etc scanned by the security staff.
9. Wheelchair access
The Guildhall offers full access for wheelchairs. If you have any special requirements or are likely to require additional assistance please advise us in advance.
10. Show Etiquette
The following policy has been put in place by the event organisers for the safety and enjoyment of everyone at the show.
- The Whisky Show unequivocally promotes and encourages responsible drinking by all visitors to the Show
- The Show is all about fine whisky, education, fun and enjoyment – not excess. In this respect, the Show believes in quality over quantity.
- Visitors are strongly encouraged to eat before and during the Show.
- All visitors are entitled to a two course meal included in the price of the ticket.
- There will also be some free sandwiches available on the day as well as opportunities to match samples of food with different whiskies.
- As well as eating, visitors are encouraged to drink plenty of water in between drams and take regular breaks from tasting during the Show.
- There will be spittoons and free drinking water available on all exhibitor stands and in easily visible locations throughout the venue.
- The above guidelines, if followed correctly, should greatly enhance Visitors’ enjoyment of the Show and appreciation of the fine whiskies available on the day.
- As part of their duty of care to the Show’s visitors, exhibitors will not serve anyone whom they believe to have consumed an excessive amount of alcohol.
- Safety Stewards will be on duty at the Show for the help and protection of all visitors and exhibitors.
- The Stewards will ask anyone who is inebriated or who becomes disruptive or offensive to other visitors or exhibitors to leave the Show.
- No readmittance will be granted to anyone who has been asked to leave the Show or who has been removed from the Show for the above reasons.
